1989-1990 Doulce Mémoire formed in Paris (soprano, two viols, lute, recorder). Performance at the Auditorium du Louvre: 'Le Livre du Courtisan' (based on Castiglione's 'Il Cortegiano' - 'The Courtier').
1991 Festival du Vieux Lyon, 'Le Parangon des Chansons'.
1992 Auditorium du Louvre, 'Il Tempo si Rinuova', concert with iconographical staging.
1993 'Il Studio dilettevole', produced by the Ambronay Festival.
1994 'Il Studio dilettevole' on tour (France, Switzerland, the Netherlands). First performance of the 'Rabelais and Music' programme at the Lanvellec Festival. Addition of hauts instruments (cornett, sackbut, shawms, percussion).
1995 Festival d'Ile-de-France: 'A Renaissance evening in 1830'. Release, to great acclaim, of the ensemble's first CD, 'Chansons et danceries' (works published by Pierre Attaingnant). Addition of a vocal quartet.
1996 'Messe de mariage de Rogier', with La Fenice and the Namur Choir, on tour in Belgium. Release of Doulce Mémoire's highly-acclaimed CD, 'Les Fricassées lyonnaises' .
1997 On tour in Croatia. Concerts at the Beaune, Montreux and Ribeauvillé festivals.
Third CD, 'Le Livre du Courtisan' , showered with awards.
1998 'La Dive Bouteille' (a 'Renaissance 'cabaret'); tour of Eastern Europe. Télérama Nuit des ffff (L'Olympia, Paris).
Release of the CD 'Il Trionfo di Bacco' , voted Record of the Year by the record magazine Diapason. Move to Tours (Région Centre).
1999 International tour: USA, Japan, Germany. Concerts in Italy (Villa Medici), Portugal, Switzerland.
Release of the CD 'Requiem des Rois de France' Many awards, including Record of the Year (Monde de la Musique). 'Le Jardin des Délices'(directed by Mireille Laroche) with La Péniche Opéra at the Opéra-Comique, Paris.
2000 Celebration of Doulce Mémoire's tenth anniversary! Performances of 'Le Jardin des Délices' in Taiwan. New work: 'La Roulotte du Savetier Calbain', on tour (Région Centre). Programme: 'Musiques pour la cérémonie de mariage de Henri IV et Marie de Médicis'; presentation at Sully-sur-Loire, Lyon, Florence, Bologna. Release of the CD 'Viva Napoli' (Diapason d'Or, 10 de Répertoire, recommended by Classica.)
2001 Further engagements in the USA, Spain, Portugal. Tour with 'La Roulotte duSavetier Calbain'.
2002 Creation of the new production Derniers jours de fête, with tour in the Centre region of France. Invitations to Saintes, Bergen, Fribourg, Conques and Radio France. Creation of the new production The Field of Cloth of Gold at Ambronay avec the british ensemble Cardinall's Musick and Paradis d'amour in Picardy with Italian dance company Il Ballarino. Major tour in South America (Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Colombia).
2003 Léonard de Vinci , recording and concert, around the exhibition devoted to Vinci at Le Louvre in Päris. Creation in Picardy of The Harmony of the world written by Eugène Durif with dancers of Il Ballarino. Great feast in Sully. Creation of the Chambord International Renaissance Academy.
2004 New tour in South America (Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Venezuela, Argentina, Columbia,
La Dive Bouteille-tour around Gap, France (with the Théâtre de la Passerelle) Fête de la Musique at the French Senate, concerts at Radio France, in Liege and in Sarrebourg 15th anniversary party in October at the Salle Gaveau, Paris.
